| i've been wanting to give some of my moneeez lately to a type of foundation/charity/what have you. something involving music: donating instruments, funding for music programs, something of that sort.
obviously, VH1's Save the Music has crossed my path, however, i don't feel that they quite cover what i am thinking. they are more about restoring diminishing programs (don't get me wrong, i think that is a bigger issue than we all think), they don't help the student receive a scholarship for rentals.
it would be nice for people to realize that only promoting math and composition above all else isn't going to do anything for us. except form excellent test takers AKA money-makers for the schools. after high school the students are fucked.
since i don't go to church anymore, i want to make it my tithe. i don't want to discuss church at the moment, i am too tired and my head hurts from watching F for Fake.
music saved me from a life of sports.
